This is my favorite restaurant in Albuquerque. The food is tasty, healthy, and cheap with many choices. The restaurant is clean. The cooks heat their Chinese woks with huge flames as in China. The service is fast and efficient. They will steam the tofu or fry it. If you like sweets, try their coffee chicken. So delicious, I'm surprised it's legal. Their chicken with Sichuan green beans is a delight.Kevin Cahill
Rewards program lets you accumulate $5 coupons FAST! Half price appetizers before 6. Awesome refreshing iced green tea. My husband and I come her a lot for the BEST softest freshest POT STICKERS and the BEST ORANGE CHICKEN in Albuquerque. Everything made to order FRESH! Excellent Nob Hill location near UNM where you can sit by the window or on their cute little outdoor deck and people watch. Shop later or just walk about makes a nice little outing on a nice sunny day or in the evening there are clubs close by. I LOVE FAN TANG!!'Peggy R.
A friend took me to lunch at Fan Tang saying it was her favorite place. I was very impressed by this little restaurant in the Nob Hill area. They have an extensive menu with reasonable prices. Our food was brought out quickly and was very nicely presented.
We ordered Vietnamese rolls which were excellent. My friend got a wonton soup which looked very tasty. All the ingredients are fresh and the meals prepared when ordered. I ordered a Tad Thai which was good. The portions were very large and I took part home for lunch the next day.
The restaurant was clean and attractive. We visited for lunch on a Friday and the staff was well prepared for the lunch crowd.Terri R
Love this place! Our family has a huge variety of needs - we have vegans, celiac sufferers and vegan celiacs! It's always a dining conundrum. But everyone has been satisfied at Fan Tang. The coffee chicken is my favorite - I just wish it could be made gluten free for my husband to enjoy too! He loves the orange peel chicken and the ma po tofu is a huge hit among our vegan family! The only item that hasn't been a huge hit has been the sweet and sour chicken. I know it's their own twist on it but it twisted a little too far. The dish itself actually was good - just not sweet and sour.Ashreid
